Back in Wawa (briefly)

OK, I know that many of you are sitting there champing at the bit to get back to some Australian pictures..... I will do that soon. However, something I wanted to do before I ran away to join the circus or whatever it is that I do with my time. I thought I would show all in the other locations (other than Warsaw) how lovely it is at the moment. Not just that but about the colour that some people create in their world around them. I am whacking in a series of street art in here. To show although there is lots of communistic concrete here, people still have ideas, creativity and apply these two together!

Firstly I will start with some colour photos of the day, then some black and whites to get your brains going and then the street art. Sound fair?
Ok so it is a sign to tell you how to pick up poops, but I just liked the little dog.
Such marvellous skies!
Covered:

Life is so generous a giver, but we, judging its gifts by the covering, cast them away as ugly or heavy or hard. Remove the covering and you will find beneath it a living splendor, woven of love, by wisdom, with power.” Giovani Giocondo

One for you Angelo Fasano!

I swear that this guy totally looked like the failed Mario brother, Gluigi.
Flowers and the memory of Smolensk.
A nutty future, ye shall have.
The Łazienki Park behind Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski Let's see you say that with half a sandwich in your mouth!
I think it looks nicer in Black and White with the little toy people in it.
Marty pondering the world of toy people.
Ground pimples.
Dance, little people, dance like there was no tomorrow.
Please people, let sleeping gnomes lie.
I call this one "Grampoflage". It is focused on camouflage for grandpa type people to hide from grandmas.
Don't stair up too long.
Also don't stair down.
A Curly Wurly for sale.

Let the street art begin!

I specifically like the happy Narwhal.
Blue Blast!
Oh la and la.
Stanley, never was a cool name.
Smoking pot makes you fly apparently, but plant pots?
Marty and her Mumuska
Yuk yuk yuk, I paint good, yuk yuk yuk.
I am amongst the little people now.
A whole lotta peacock.
You gotta love the little red doodle. Only controversial because it is red.
Do I hear copyright infringement?
Surely you would trust a man in a hat..... right?
Llama lambada.
Spaceblob.
Attack of the Godzilla like raccoon.
Just pure garbage.

Warsaw goes Southside: Food add-ition - Round 1

So I thought this one could be all about the belly. Of which mine has grown considerably since being in Poland and even more since being in Adelaide. I forgot how able I was to pile large quantities of food, not all health giving, into my (some would say large) mouth. I have now converted that to putting lots of foreign foods into Marta's mouth. Some were spat out, others, well, they remain ingested and added to with many friends.

So this shall be a small tour of some of our trip foods.... in a round-a-bout way.

I will limit the commentary as there is plenty of photos..... I will also have to add another entry for food. As you can imagine, I have taken a few food pics!
Firstly, Cocolat , a fantastic place to lose yourself. I have just finished reading the book Chocolat that was later made into a movie with some guy called Jonny Depp. This place brought back memories of the book, although a little less French (and less homely)!
It was quite amusing. When the waitress saw me about to take a photo of the brownie, she took the plate back and made it look prettier..... maybe she should have done it this was as a start...
I think those two frogs are making more frogs, do you think the balls are frog eggs?
They even make Carrotcake seem enticing!
Apricot Brandy? Yes please!
Caramel Craze looks the goods!
Looking like they could run out of chocolate.
Marty fell in love with Adelaide's fresh sushi, it is a huge difference to the sort we get in Poland. This one was for lunch by the beach.
A Marilyn's coffee with Jess Bles.
One of my childhood favourites, every Saturday morning for about a year!
The old Cockle, I remember my grandparents making these.
A solid favourite in the FUCC lunch caper. The chocolate roll.Marty with our purchases at the Bluebird Bakery , my after footy/cricket haunt in the old school days.
The Frogs from Vanderzwan Bakery at Glenelg. Being meringue, I am guessing they look better than they taste.
A classic Australian Icon, Arnotts. Proud maker of Pizza and BBQ Shapes, and the beloved Tim Tam.
Marty now wants to move to Adelaide, only because of Sushi Train. A great place, always busy and full of smiles, except for the people waiting in the line with drool running down their chin.
Ten plates later, the end of sushi, as I ate it.
Haighs, the highlight of Australian Domestic chocolate. Sparkling Shiraz is a favourite drink, why not chocolate?
Marty and the truffle. And halfway through the journey.
Next the stamped dark choc-mint buttons, they were free with the purchases.
Then Marty attempts to decapitate a Dark Chocmint Frog.

Then one day my sister and her lovely friend Y took us to Yum Cha. I heart Yum Cha!
Tapioca balls anyone?
Why not a prawn wrap.....
Prawn cakes....
Prawn moneybags.....
The locals love it!
Hairy prawn balls? Yes, Marty made us order lots of Prawns.
At the end of the day the chilli is gone, the savoury is downed, the only thing left is.....
Mango pudding, and we live to eat another day.... certainly not needing to eat again after the aforementioned and more.
