Lacock, Wiltshire, England.

The town of Lacock is well known in the UK - not because it was mentioned in the Doomsday book, or because it is mostly owned by the National Trust - but it has been filmed for numerous films and TV series. People probably don't know that they have actually seen it though. That is often the funniest part. We stayed a short drive down a country lane away from it, which meant we could miss all the bus tours and enjoy the town early in the morning and later in the evening when it is empty, peaceful and radiant. A really pretty place. And the pub meals and pints aren't bad either.

My series of doors, handles and knockers grew a little here.

This guy was working hard, for sure.

I am a big fan of a creeper, but I know my father would cut it down instantly.

I am always photographing British bakeries.

I do love a churchyard cemetery. Always have, always will.

One bird on a wire, doesn't have the same ring to it as Regina sings it.

A cute little bridge on the edge of town.

The location of our first pub meal of this trip. The George. Decent roast, fish and chips and pints were great.
Someone got stuck in the attic a little too long here.

I'm still obsessed by the oddness of old school glass doors. From the UK to Italy to Spain I find them great.

Heard the hysteria over wisteria?

Double door, not Dumbledore.

Love ivy on buildings.

The George's competition in town. Their pints weren't bad either.
