Cloudy dayz

I really like clouds, at Easter time I was able to get out for a little stroll about and take a few pictures before I got too cold in the "fresh" weather.

Luckily warmer days appear upon us..... fingers crossed. Or "trzy mam kciuki" hold your thumbs, in Polish.

Służewiec, the horse town in town.

A while ago on a beautiful sunny February day we strolled about the world of horses. Around the Służewiec racecourse there are some really pretty buildings and a completely different world to the rest of Warsaw. Trees, rivers, ponds and of course animals. It is really a nice place to get away from the speed of the daily Warsaw life and to enjoy some sunshine, peace and quiet.

Nude Deers Sleeve

Still, whilst going through old photos, I even came upon a few that were taken on New Years Eve this year. We had only just moved house and it was too cold to go outside so we took them from home. I can remember we were in bed about an hour later so pooped after moving and unpacking again.

As a fan of dogs I am not really one to like fireworks, but they are pretty to photograph, just not really that pretty to watch. I think I'd rather the money spent on solar powered lights to decorate parts of the city on a permanent basis, but who am I to ask? Hania? Please.....

Sometimes you just have to try some experimentation with a snap and drag moment.

Powstanie II

Powstanie,  well Easter is good for something, it gave me time to go back through some old photos. I started my Powstanie post last year the day after the regular remembrance ceremony which was, last year, the 70th anniversary. So, it was quite a big deal. We caught the siren of call to action at the big fake palm and strolled the streets to see what was going on.

They also opened a new square Plac Ponstańców Warszawy for the day.

Aparently running sucks.... for some.
How else to celebrate the nation than with a red and white icecream. :)
