Hilly

It is great in our area in some ways. We have a number of hills in the surrounding area which are created from the groundworks that helped build the neighbourhood and metro line. They provide a great place to sit and watch the planes come and go, and to enjoy a nice sunset or sunrise if one can get up that early. It of course also creates a great little natural wild park, and on this site a bike track for the BMXers of the area. Also, in the area you can easily find wild plums, hops, and horseradish.

On a recent stormy night, I played around a little with some photos. It was when planes were also flying over our neighbourhood which made things even more interesting.

Fly bys

Let the planes fly I say,

Recently due to some work on the main runway at the Warsaw Airport the planes have been taking the less used second runway, this means they land by coming down over us. It makes for some noise and might even wake us up a little, but I like the lights and photo opportunities it gives. So, here is some long exposure photos.
