I know what you mean Tom! I saved a long time to get mine. But it is good as you can also use it to take nice portrait and low light photos too as it has a low f stop. Adapters are a great cheaper way to work, and you only lose a small amount of quality. :)

I love the portraits of the little creatures... And the first photo especially looks like dreamland.
Thanks MM yeah they were tough to get in place but very rewarding. I think I live in a permanent dreamland :)
Macro is fun and there are some good pix there.
I'm thinking of getting an adapter lens for my 4/3rds camera. Macro lenses are a bit out of my price range at the moment!
