If there is one thing you have guessed by now from reading this blog. Which is that I really love street scenes. The things that are every day life for many, or even a special event but where many are not expecting to be the centre of attention. This is where I come in with a camera and snap them. I really love people in Poland. They all have individual styles and looks. I wish I had a camera attached to my little flat cap that I wear everywhere so that I could snap many images incognito, as my beautiful Canon SLR is, as many of you have seen, kind of large and obvious. So here we will have some more moments of Warsaw street life, mostly from the area around Nowy Swiat and Krakowskie Przedmiescie as these are a) the most popular locations for people to stroll about on weekends, and b) a place where a camera is not really seen as something out of place. So here you go street photography lovers.

A leopard apparently can't change its spots, this one just changes poses, everyone hands on hips. |

Babcia of the window |
A funny thing taking this photo is I took this one on Chmielna and then looked above us and there was a grampa looking out the window on the other side of the street thinking it was funny that we were taking a photo of the granny. Maybe they have a long distance relationship.

Ok, so not strictly street photography, but soooooo cute. These two little Asian kiddies were waiting for their parents at TK MAXX, just watching the world go by below. |

I hid in the shadows hoping someone famous would come past into this bolt of light, alas they didn't. So you get some regular folk instead. |

New statistics in 1 in every 3 Poles are on the phone, check the last two photos. Statistics don't lie! |

Just so you know :) My vote? Women, Men, People in General (in case they're not already included in the first two), Street Art, Street Scenes.
Fantastic! Thanks Erin. :) I put people in general for those who didn't have a preference of gender ;)It appears they are all being recorded now, maybe it just has some lag time :)
great photos! I love it.
I love the red dressed woman.
Great photos.
Thanks Paddy, she certainly was an eye catching movement past me.
